I would like to thank Kenny Lucas for training my personal protection dog Bison and getting him ready to do defend in real life. I am a working dog enthusiast and American Bulldog breeder, and have been involved in dog training on one level or another for over 10 years. I have been training Bison in PSA for over a year and although that provided a great foundation it did not give him all the tools he needed to react in a real situation. Many trainers and working dog enthusiasts teach the mechanics of bite work but totally disregard the civil(defensive) side and end up with dogs that are limited and lack the intent to really engage a perp if that need should ever arise. If asked why they choose this approach ,some of them will say that you do not need a dog that will actually be willing to bite. They will add that a good display will be more than enough to scare off most criminals. That may be true in some of the more rural and low crime areas of Tennessee but is certainly not the case in Miami, Fl., where I lived most of my life. I had witnessed firsthand what the hardened urban criminal is capable off, and understand what it takes to stop one. I assure you that a loud bark and a good threat display will not always be enough. Other people simply do not realize that their approach doesn't work and lack the experience and knowledge to train a balanced dog that can switch from a loving family pet to a Real protector. I always tried to proof my dogs and test them so that I knew with out any doubt that they were ready to protect and engage in a real situation. My approach paid off on a number of occasions but that's a whole other story. I was fortunate enough to know people with the expertise to train in real personal protection back in Fl, but when I moved to TN, I could not find anyone that could replicate this type of training. I got into Sport of PSA, and although it was a great experience and I learned a great deal I realized that it did not yield the results that I had become accustomed to. Fortunately for me I met Kenny and in just a few short sessions he was able to sharpen up my dog in defense correctly and I am very happy with the results. We certainly have some more work to do but I can already see great improvement and trust Kenny to continue working with my dog. I am also very pleased with the way Kenny has conducted himself during the process and find him to be very honest. In my experience true integrity in the dog world is a pretty rare thing. Needless to say, I highly recommend Kenny Lucas to anyone interested in getting top quality obedience or protection training for their dog and assure you that you will not be disappointed. I am single and have no children, so my dog, Mickey, is like my child. I struggled for a long time to train and tech Mickey the tricks and behaviors that I was able to teach my previous dog. Mickey is very high energy and curios. After allowing Kenny to train Mickey I am amazed at his attention span and behavior. After only one day of training I could see a difference! I highly recommend allowing Kenny to train your dog! Thank you so very much for your time and professional exhibition of Zeke the Amazing Wonder Dog. Over 350 children enjoyed the obedience tricks and tips on how to train your own dog. The safety tips for working with dogs was very informative and I am sure will help the children when approaching or handling dogs.

Kenny,
Kenny, I travel extensively and wanted my wife to feel safe when I’m gone, which is why I chose Kenny to train our Labrador/Great Pyrenees mix. Kenny did an outstanding job teaching him those protection skills and disciplines without changing his friendly disposition. Thanks, Scott G.
